My desk, 6.00 pm yesterday, supposedly my day off, what a mess!
This clearly calls for some Benedictine decluttering – roll on Lent.
The only consolation is that I made a cracking steak and kidney pie just an hour later:

Don’t suppose I shall be having too many of those in Lent.

Not ‘messy’ just ‘busy’ lol. Er it has to said that as a woman I have noticed two things ~ the rather amusing desk top picture you have ~ Mr Frosty the Snowman ~ and the empty bottle of red next to the delicious bowls of strawberries.
You thought we’d be looking at the mess and the lovely pie didn’t you ~ silly man lol.
Blessings

Thank you for transforming my ‘messy’ into ‘busy’!
Mr Frosty was my daughter’s response to the snow in February – I still have it as my desktop background, although the real thing is now just a hat and a scarf on the ground in the back garden.
The bottle of red, though empty, was Fair Trade! (Co-Op) And the pie was delicious!
I hope you and your family are well. I have to say that I find your blog inspiring. As a ‘professional’ it is good, and humbling, to be reminded of where real faith really comes to the fore – in the lives of regular people, trying to live out the faith amidst all the ups and downs of ordinary (= real) life. Thank you, Sharon, for your faith and your inspiration. Keep up the good work.
